Equity Analyst (Buy Side) – Multi Billion Dollar Hedge Fund
As part of its growing business, they are looking to add 2 Equity Analysts (junior to mid level) to cover either Southeast Asia or one country within that region as country specialists to their strong team of 15 investment guys in Singapore.
My ideal candidate would have spent a solid 4 to 6 years in a research role covering a broad range of sectors in a key market. To add, the candidate must have had a solid track record in generating successful trade ideas and it's well demonstrated in their discretionary pay outs or company review.
To add - we would be open to speak to candidates from top universities in their undergraduate or master programs with good GPA marks in core subjects.
In detail - other requirements include:
- Good Equity Investor mindset - good knack for markets, trends and opportunities in the region
- Equipped with one key Southeast Asian language will be an advantage to be able to do speak with local firms and stakeholders
- Fundamentally driven or Distressed Investors are preferred
- Must have had experience working with a successful portfolio manager
- Confident and a good personality is key to fit culturally with the dynamic team
