Equity Analyst- Financials / Insurance
My Client is a Global Investment Bank who are currently seeking a Senior Equity Analyst covering the North Asian region to join their Hong Kong Office
This is a unique opportunity for a senior research candidate with specific research skills in equity investments across the Insurance Non-banking financials sector in the North Asian region to join one of the most prestigious firms in Asia.
The role will entail performing detailed fundamental research into the regions equity markets. The candidate will have a strong background as a Sell Side Equity Analyst covering the Greater China Insurance sector
Role Responsibilities
- Generate detailed fundamental research throughout the Hong Kong China markets across the Financial Sector - particularly Insurance
- Develop research in a team which is expanding its regional coverage.
- Monitor, evaluate and explain the regional equity outlook, focusing on the insurance sector.
- Regularly write and project manage both strategic and trading-oriented investment ideas.
- Coordinate research with in-house company analysts and external research companies.
- Liaise and strengthen relationships with internal and external clients.
Candidate Requirements
- 5-8 years experience in performing Equity research with a minimum of 3 years covering the North Asian markets.
- Experience in the Insurance sector across the North Asia Region
- University Educated, obtaining at least a BSc in Economics, Finance or Banking from a Global Top 50 University
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a particular focus on meticulous research
- A deep passion for Investments, a willingness for hard work to attain the highest results both financially and for the company
