A dynamic fundamental research driven long/short Investment fund with an AUM of 2.1b which has grown each year since inception in 2008 is looking to add an analyst.
The GEM desk covers Latin America, Asia Pacific and Emerging Europe and the alpha-gen Hedge Fund likes to cross-fertilise within the Fund so analysts will be expected to cover investment stocks in each of these regions on top of their specialist field.
This is an excellent opportunity for Equity Research Analysts to develop thorough investment skills in generalist Emerging Market coverage, working alongside some highly successful and experienced Portfolio Managers.
Analysts will undertake extensive fundamental analysis of GEM stocks and these will culminate in weekly presentations in front of Portfolio Managers and Investors, so confidence in equity knowledge and hard work ethic is rudimental to success.
The right applicants should:
- Cover Global Emerging Market Equities from a bottom-up approach
- Command superb stock picking analysis and due diligence
- Have a University degree of at least a 2.1
- Be confident to present stock and investment ideas directly with Fund Managers
- Have at least 4 years experience within Equity Research
What is essential is that Analysts can show a hunger for investing and career progression on top of core expertise in their field.
