POSITION PURPOSE:
Key partner on client services team and administration management. Assist on all Corporate Marketing and Administration activities. Coordinate client reporting and tracking of client-related activities. Maintain close relationships and act as key point of contact with sales, trading, research, equity management, internal partners and external vendors. Develop key initiatives in partnership with client services team. Recognize, escalate and provide guidance to team regarding status of priorities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Equity Client Services - General assistance with all client-related equity services, including corporate and analyst marketing, databases and reporting.
- Corporate Marketing - specifically back-up and/or manage corporate marketing schedules as directed. Liaise with corporate management teams; follow up with feedback and correspondence.
- Trading Desk - Learn and operate IOI desk when main contact is absent.
- Administration - Document procedures, process, track, reconcile expenses, update databases, correspondence. Arrange travel. Assist with sales desk phone management. General back up of Equity Administrator
- Research liaison - Manage research distribution with strict adherence to compliance and procedural guidelines. Maintain and acquire detailed understanding of Global Equity contact management system and Research Distribution System.
- Represent Global Equity on ad hoc committees relating to business development and client information services.
- Identify issues, escalate as required. Prepare reports on demand from various sources for management review.
FUNCTIONAL COMPENTENCIES:
The role requires knowledge of bank practices, guidelines and relationships. Incumbent must have obvious relationship building skills, multi-tasking abilities and eagerness to work in a team environment

- Capital markets experience an asset

- Excellent analytical, decision making and organizational skills.
- Self-starter in a variety of areas, including: market risk management, credit, operations and/or finance
- Database experience (including MS Office, CRM and database work)
- Knowledge of internal operations within the organization an asset

- Effective manager with ability to gain confidence of key stakeholders (management teams and related teams within the organization) and clients of the firm
- Highly detailed and effective communication skills
EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:
- University degree required. Financial and industry course completion an asset.
- Completion of CSC and CPH required within 24 months of start.
