Our client, a market-leading CFD business, is seeking an Equity CFD Sales Associate to support their high value CFD trading clients. The ideal candidate for the role would have a strong background in equity CFD execution built over several years. Senior level equities experience in functions such as CFD sales, equity trade booking and equity CFD clients services would be preferred.
The Equity CFD Sales Associate is responsible for local business development and relationship management for all high and premium value clients. Within the team there is a separate team which focuses on on-boarding premium clients and client service.
Responsibilities
- Provide pro-active end to end, high quality relationship management for high value clients to ensure a positive, tailored client experience thereby optimising revenue growth for the business
- Take ownership for owning and driving an excellent client experience for high value clients through all touch points in the client lifecycle. This includes: on-boarding, trading execution (trade on behalf of clients) client retention, query management and education.
- Effectively manage the clients under their responsibility in all respects, including driving expansion of networks and referral business
- Proactively identify and realise opportunities to improve our service proposition and educate our high value client on products and services
- Monitor competitor companies within related markets and apply insights to help the business continuously improve.
- Keep abreast of global and economic news in order to provide execution trading support to high value clients.
- Ensure interaction and communication with all other business functions such as Trading, Business Operations etc are of the highest standard to ensure a high quality customer experience
Requirements
- Able to demonstrate passion, enthusiasm, commitment and an in depth knowledge of financial markets
- In depth experience of trading, technical analysis and basic trading strategies
- Proven track record of initiating, building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Operates with integrity and an exceptionally high client centric mindset
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and ownership to ensure a consistent, high quality client experience
- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline desirable (Business, Finance, Economics etc.)
