Equity Derivative Middle Office Operations, Associate recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for core functions (reconciliation, trade validation) around equity and equity derivatives structure products trade capture life cycle events
- Ensure proper control and maintenance are performed on a daily basis and ensure timely escalation
- Review and implement middle office procedures to maintain operational efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy with an aim to mitigate risks and errors
- Improve accuracy of trades life cycle events, expiry corporate actions bookings into the risk system
- Work with change management team to produce booking models for new initiatives, improve workflows, give inputs on business requirements, and perform UAT test case
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree holder with minimum 5 years experience in Middle Office line role covering Equity Derivatives
- Experience in reengineering existing processes and applying Operational best practices would be preferred
- Strong VBA macro skills
- Detail orientated and able to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills with fluent English and Cantonese; fluent Mandarin would be an advantage
