Job Description

Sunrise Brokers is looking for a Senior Equity Derivatives Sales Trader to join their equity derivatives sales team. The position is based in our London office.

Candidates should ONLY APPLY to this position if they have a minimum of 5 years of solid flow equity derivatives sales trading experience and have a transportable client base of hedge funds, asset managers and proprietary trading desks. We welcome seasoned senior sales traders, with strong relationships, who wish to breakout of the conventional investment banking model.  

Our sales traders receive competitive compensation packages and are supported with innovative research products. Notably, Sunrise Brokers possesses proprietary, client driven research products that cannot be found at most sell side execution firms or top tier full service financial firms.

The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team and be responsible for developing new business as well as positioning Sunrise Brokers’ proprietary research and services at hedge funds and asset managers. The candidate will work alongside execution, research and product specialists within a team setting.

Desired Skills Experience

• A minimum of 5 years experience selling equity derivatives

• Focus on listed options and futures as well as exotics, ETFs and delta one products

• Access to pan European buy-side customers, especially hedge funds and asset managers

• Proven track record of commission generation
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong fundamental analysis and the ability to make decisions based on that data.
• Ability to assess clients’ needs relative to available projects and services.
• Understanding of sales process from sourcing prospects to closing the sale and customer follow-up.
• Knowledge of macro-economic, political developments, and market liquidity conditions.
• Ability to understand economic, political and market changes and effectively communicate our trading ideas based on market developments and our strategy for trade execution.
• Must have proven ability to effectively use technology, research and market intelligence in day-to-day trading
