Description:
The Change team is responsible for running projects and process improvements for both Equity Derivatives (Front Office Trade Support, ESDG, Securitization and Control team) and GSE (Global Synthetic Equities group) across HK, Tokyo and Australia. This covers both strategic as well as tactical projects. This individual will be responsible for running projects and driving the Change agenda for APAC Equity Derivatives Middle Office, with a focus on delivering our future strategic architecture. This includes project planning, performing cost benefit analysis, user requirements gathering and documentation and UAT coordination. The individual will work closely with IT, Ops, FO and any other relevant groups to ensure users’ requirements are clearly documented and articulated to IT for implementation, as well as acting as an SME to provide advice and solutions. The individual will also be expected to work with users to perform analysis, understand and document process flows, and identify gaps or areas where change can bring about more efficient processing and/or generate FTE savings. Successful candidate should be detailed oriented, highly motivated, possess good communication skills and a strong drive for change. In addition, a strong project management experience is a requirement.
Requirements:
- Pro-active, self-starter.
- Strong Derivative/Cash equity product knowledge, preferably with at least 2 years working in Equities Ops or related field
- Ability to communicate effectively with IT, sales, traders and mid/back office support staff
- Some programming skills (VBA, Access) would be preferred
