Position Description:
AGS on behalf of RBS are recruiting for a candidate to join the Structured Equity Derivative Documentation team or the Market Initiatives/Business Development team within the Equity Operations Department. The role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work within a dynamic team that has to constantly adapt to the changing regulatory landscape and business needs.
The Equities Derivatives Confirmations Team currently consists of over 30 documentation specialists split between our London, Singapore and Manchester operating centres, supporting Structured and Flow Trading respectively.
The role within the Structured Equity Derivative Documentation is in the Drafting and Negotiations Team. This team is primarily responsible for ensuring that Structured ISDA Equity Derivative Confirmations are created for all OTC transactions and dispatched to the firm's clients in accordance with regulatory commitments and within internal RBS performance indicators.
The role within the Market Initiatives team would be responsible for ensuring that the Global Equity Derivative Operations team has the infrastructure to meet all the regulatory commitments. This includes participating within industry forums to define the strategic architecture for Equity Derivatives, gathering requirements for improvements to current processing and working with technology to ensure our internal systems can process documentation in an efficient manner and meet with regulatory requirements. The role also encompasses working on any additional requirements. This could include, but not limited to, representation of RBS at industry forums concerning Documentation initiatives, development of internal system enhancements for confirmation purposes and working with the documentation team on ISDA initiatives

Competencies:
Business Knowledge:
- Good understanding of operational workflows in particular Front-to-Back processing
- Knowledge of Current Industry Initiatives
Technical Knowledge:
- A high level of understanding of the ISDA Equity Derivative Definitions is essential
- An understanding of electronic matching processing via MarkitServ and DTCC is favoured
- A good appreciation of ISDA documentation for Equity Derivatives is beneficial
- A solid understanding of Structured Equity Derivative Products and interpreting these into confirmation form
Solid experience in drafting Structured ISDA Equity Documentation for Structured Equity Products
