The Company
Our client is a reputable bank who is committed to diversity and inclusion. Due to the expansion of its operations in Hong Kong, the firm is seeking for an experienced Senior Analyst to join its Middle Office. The role will be specialized in Equity Structured Derivatives and requires strong VBA macro skills.
The Role
The candidate is responsible for:
- Core function such as reconciliation, trade validation around Equ Derivatives products life cycle events
- Ensure trade capture is done in timely manner and own trade validation in Sophis system.
- Perform risk assessment and mitigating any issue
- Represent Middle office in governance committees.
- Liaise with Project management team to produce booking models to improve workflows, perform UAT tests case and give inputs on business requirements.
- Act as a middle person between front and back office to liaise with trader or sales when there is any query
- Provide functional training to team members
Your Profile
- At least 5 years of experiences in Middle Office covering Equity Derivatives
- Strong Macro VBA skills
- Strong communication skills in Chinese (Cantonese is a must, Mandarin would be an advantage) and English (both written and verbal)
- Strong leadership skills, responsible, trustworthy, take ownership and communicate effectively.
