Equity Derivatives Operations Associate recruitment
The Company
Our client is a reputable investment bank with a growing presence within the Asia Pacific Region. They are currently looking to hire an Operations Associate to support the Head of Asia Equity Derivatives Operations within Hong Kong. This role provides an opportunity for internal mobility as well as an attractive remuneration package.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting markers in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia for instrument setup, codes publishing and documentation coordination.
- New issuances of securitized products with asset classes of equities and indices
- Work closely with other support teams on confirmations, event management, corporate event adjustment for the issued securities, trade booking for settlement, coupon fixing, redemption calculation and providing all-round client services
- Ensuring that all new issues are captured in the global data storage system in an accurate and timely manner
Your Profile
- Degree in related field of work
- 3 or more years experience in investment banking
- Advanced knowledge in securitized and structured products
- Understanding where risks are associated in the life cycle of a trade
- Proficiency in English. Ability to read and write Chinese is preferable
