This market leading banking services firm is looking to significantly develop their Asian equities business and is investing heavily in this area for the next 5-10 years.
This role will be responsible for supporting the Asian Equity Derivative business and specifically be responsible for building out the Warrants business and other Equity Linked Instruments (ELI). You will be involved in building out the operational readiness of Equity Warrants including new product approval, systems readiness, process mapping and documentation. There will be various project responsibilities working with a range of internal stakeholders, and the role will evolve as the business grows and develop, giving you responsibility for running this area. This is an opportunity to join a growing firm as it establishes a major business in Asia, taking on team management responsibility you will be a key member of the Operations and Middle Office team and will have a strong platform to develop your career.
To qualify, the individuals must possess:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience gained within Equity and Equity Derivative Operations ideally within an Investment Bank or trading environment
- Strong experience of Warrants and related Equity Linked products is essential, with knowledge of market making and settlement processes
- Knowledge of CCASS is preferred
- Some project management and business analysis experience
- Strong Excel and good all round IT skills are preferred
- Strong problem solving skills, able to add value and show leadership on projects and new initiatives
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
