Equity Derivatives Structured Products business requires an experienced Structurer to join a professional and successful team to help develop product for a wide range of sophisticated clients ranging from Retail Investors through to tailored Institutional solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
New Product Development
- Support to the new product approval process and the implementation of new product including
- Assistance with product specifications
- Liaison with sales for the structuring of the new product
- Assistance to the head of product management for the implementation of new products
- Help develop financial models for pricing and risk management
Existing Product Management
- Assist with the continual review of existing product range in terms of current and future viability and profitability and competitor standing
- Responsibility for the implementation of set product enhancements
- Responsibility for ongoing Product Disclosure Statements including preparation of, and due diligence for approval to issue
- Liaison with the middle office for the product of financial statements
- Liaison with registry for the production of ongoing client correspondence in respect of the existing product suite including periodic and tax statements
- Assist in the preparation of client reporting for the existing product ranges including (but not limited to) monthly reports, annual tax guides, QAs etc.
Other
- Responsibility for internal reporting on existing products including monthly updates to the Product Committee
- Assistance with the ongoing relationship with external stakeholders such as the ASX, external Responsible Entity and Custody/Administration/Registry providers in respect of existing products.
Key Capabilities:
- Significant experience in developing equity derivative structured products in the Australian market.
- Strong knowledge of Australian legal and tax legislation relating to financial products
- Strong Excel skills and programming skills an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively with sophisticated clients in relations to all aspects of the product cycle including technical and sales
