Equity Derivatives Support- Leading Global Brokerage recruitment
The successful candidate will work as part of the Asia team of production specialists as well as interact with the wider global team and application development teams. You will need to be comfortable working in a production environment with a high level of trader interaction, and you also need to be able to work within strict control guidelines and to maintain stability and quality control.
Responsibilities
• Build strong relationships with traders and clients
• Monitoring of the environment, together with extensive problem identification, ownership, resolution or escalation.
• Managing significant system outages, directing activities of all development and infrastructure teams to resolve serious production issues.
• Build strong relationships with clients
• Plan new releases of software with development teams
• Manage new releases into the production environment and subsequent testing.
Requirements
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to react calmly but quickly in emergency situation.
• Ability to quickly learn new system and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Asian Markets
• Must be proficient in Cantonese and Mandarin plus English
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in MIS or computer science is highly desired.
• Knowledge of Equity Derivatives
• Experience working in a front-line, client-facing technical support role in a user-focused environment.
