Equity / Equity Derivatives Strategist
My client is currently expanding its operations and product offering by creating a strong multi-asset technology-orientated product. They have an excellent, top tier management structure who are committed to the firm’s dynamic push within the capital markets space. They are looking to add an equity / equity derivatives strategist to spearhead this effort. The role is particularly entrepreneurial as it taps into a number of different responsibilities. Suitable candidates will have a strong track record of equity or equity derivatives strategy experience (for which the house is well known) as well as a sound understanding of other asset classes (FX, Commodities Interest Rates). Those with a strong economic and quant background will be most sought after, as the role requires a strong understanding of quantitative technology used in the framework of the firms product. The opportunity further requires candidates to have strong commercial experience as they will be acting as to be the face of future client contact – therefore a set of strong buy side relationships is essential; moreover, the role requires representation from a PR perspective giving TV interviews and press releases.
