Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Investment Director who will work closely with several of our Equity teams across a spectrum of critical investment and business challenges. The Investment Director will support each team by:

Overseeing investment integrity. Act as an independent advisor on the integrity of the team's investment processes and consistency with client mandates and objectives.

Managing business issues. Support investment teams in growing and maintaining their books of business, including driving new product development, developing marketing plans, client retention strategies, competitive analysis, qualifying new business opportunities, and assessing fees and capacity for each strategy.

Representing Investors/Portfolios. Act as an effective investment representative of assigned investment teams and their respective portfolios and processes with clients, prospects, and consultants.

Specific activities may include:
•Conducting quarterly risk and attribution reviews with portfolio managers;
•Making both quantitative and qualitative evaluations of the investment strategy both for competitive positioning and client consulting;
•Assuming responsibility for internal issues, such as those arising from operational complexity, fee negotiations, capacity limitations, investment guidelines, and the like.
•Developing new products and driving development of book of business, including making the 'case for' the strategy/theme, creating compelling product marketing materials, coordinating with GRG colleagues to craft marketing plans.
•Where appropriate, tailoring investment styles to meet client specific needs/guidelines.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
•Substantial (15+ years) industry experience, preferably in a relevant capacity such as managing money or working on the consulting side of the business.
•Demonstrated business judgment skills and a comprehensive understanding of the capital markets, quantitative analysis, and statistical methods.
•Effective marketing strategy and compelling communication skills.
•Creativity, thoughtfulness, leadership skills, and the ability to work well within a team based environment.
•An MBA and/or CFA.
•NB: This role may entail significant travel.
