Equity Operations Officer recruitment
Responsibilities are varied and managing relationships with internal and external parties will be central to the role. The role will include account opening, client database maintenance, daily reporting, position monitoring, bookings, settlement management and reconciliations. Key responsibilities are:
Agency trade support
- Account opening including completion of AML/CTF and maintaining the client database.
- Liaison with third party clearer to book out all trades and ensuring all settlements with our clearer for equities and options are completed on a timely basis escalating any issues to the trading and credit teams.
Equity Derivatives trade support
- Trade capture across cash equities, ETOs and Futures.
- Daily reconciliation of accounts, positions and trades between various internal systems and clearers.
- Timely resolution of breaking items and escalation of those breaks greater than T+1.
- Managing margins and processing cash transfers.
As a successful candidate, you will have a minimum 3 years experience working within equity operations and have a good knowledge of the end to end trading and settlements process. In addition, you will have very strong relationship building and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and take a proactive approach to problem solving and process improvements. A good understanding of IRESS is desirable.
