Equity Performance Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Performance Analyst, who should be able to work as part of the team and unsupervised on project work.
? Assist in the update and maintenance of systems and procedures to enable the Performance Analysis Team to operate efficiently.
? Responsible for monthly performance production of particular client types.
? Responsible for weekly/monthly/quarterly internal and external reporting principally on Institutional clients but including unitised vehicles.
Candidate needs to have experience in the following areas of Performance Analysis:
? Performance measurement - including FX conversions, compounding Returns, annualising etc
? Performance Attribution - creation and interpretation
? Client reporting including charting
Technical skills experience required
Candidates should have relevant system experience:
Minimum knowledge:
? Excel
? Factset (from a PA2/Spar perspective a plus)
? Lipper/Morningstar
Not essential but beneficial:
? Statpro
? Excel Macro
Behavioural competencies
? Strong oral, written and listening skills to represent the team and deal with internal clients face-to-face via email and on the phone
? organizational skills, team player, able to work autonomously
? It is very important that the candidate is very thorough with an excellent attention to detail.
? Ability to meet regular deadlines
