Equity Research Analyst
Stonegate Securities is a 40-year-old research and investment banking boutique based in Dallas, Texas. Our research department covers a number of companies in a variety of industries in the small cap space. We pride ourselves on providing quality investment ideas for our institutional investors, and we are also a leading placement agent in the U.S.
The research department is currently looking to hire a research analyst focused on equity research in the small and micro-cap space.
Responsibilities:
· Perform due diligence on companies including: company fundamental analysis, industry analysis, valuation analysis, and conference calls
· Build and maintain company EPS models
· Generate and publish research reports
· Follow multiple industries
· Communicate research to institutional investor client base
Qualifications:
· BA/BS required; MBA /or CFA a plus
· Series 7, 63, 86, 87
· Strong analytical skills
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
· Must be a self-starter and have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
· Strong work ethic to meet tight deadlines
· Ability to follow multiple industries simultaneously; healthcare experience a plus but not required
· Preference to local candidates
