Equity Research Analyst, Activist Long Short Hedge Fund recruitment
One of the leading hedge funds is looking to add an Equity Research Analyst to their London team. An activist fund, they have constantly made substantial returns for their investors.
The role, a classic investment position, will involve you generating investment ideas for the portfolio manager, who will then make decisions on long/ short trades. Day to day responsibilitie will include detailed financial analysis and modelling, valuations, macro and micro analysis, preparing investment memorandum, meeting management of companies.
You will have a background as follows:
- investment bankers, working with tier one investment banks, at the 3rd year analyst to 2nd/ 3rd year associate level
- strategy consultants from firms such as McKinsey or Bain, again with between 3 - 6 years experience
- MBAs from the top business schools, with experience in research or banking
- private equity professionals
- sell side equity research analysts with major firms
