The role
Fundamental equity research on stocks
Carrying out detailed financial analysis, modelling, valuations, research
Writing pieces of investment research on companies
Bottom up fundamental investment approach
Making recommendations to the portfolio manager
The Person
Analyst or associate from top investment bank, sell side equity analyst
3rd year analyst/ associate level
Must have exceptional financial modelling skills
Diligent, humble, hardworking
Must be team player and fit in. Must be happy to work in a flat structure.
Real interest in financial markets
Would not suit anyone with big ego, aspirations of being ''a player''
