Equity Research Associate
Our client is a majot bank based in London. They are now looking to add an Equity Research Associate to their team, who will work within one of their top rated teams
The role will appeal to those with very strong technical accounting skills and will involve the following
- Maintaining and updating current data, collecting and analysing new data (to support new ideas or reports)
- Researching and drafting reports
- Responding to client and internal requests
- Attending meetings with institutional investor clients
- Analysing company financial statements
- Monitoring of news flow on topics researched by the team,
Person Specification
- Excellent academic record, both at degree and A levels
- Chartered Accountant with first time passes (large company audit experience an advantage but not essential)
- Highly numerate with good computer skills, particularly excel, and problem-solving ability
- Intellectual flair and love of learning
- Strong communication skills
- Initiative and self-sufficiency
- Genuine interest in applying accounting and valuation theory to real company valuations
- Ambition combined with very strong work ethic
