Equity Research Associate, Metals and Mining recruitment
Our client, a major firm, is now looking to add an equity research associate to their metals and mining team. Companies in the sector include BHP, XStrata, Anglo American
The role will involve writing of equity research, financial analysis and modelling, meeting with company management, monitoring newsflow, answering investor queries.
We are interested in candidates who will have a background as follows:
- sell or buy side equity analysts - metals and mining experience would be useful although is not essential
- investment bankers looking to make a move into sell side equity research with metals and mining experience
- strategy consultants or chartered accountants with metals and mining experience from firms such as CRU or Wood McKenzie
- candidates must have a great financial modelling skills
