Equity Research M&A Analyst Fund recruitment
Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for an Equity MA Analyst to join our high profile client.
Our client is a leading London based hedge Fund. They currently have £4 billion under management and have achieved results over 17% for the last 4 years.
Their focus is mid-market cross-border equity purchases with an European angle, covering transactions between Europe/Asia, US/Asia and intra-Asia in both directions. They have a strong base of blue-chip corporate and financial sponsor clients and are enjoying good deal flow, driven by the growth of Europe.
You will work directly with 2 portfolio manager to create fundamental idea generation.
On a day to day basis you will:
- Analyse European companies' results
- Aid in deals and trades
- Meeting senior corporate management
- Market's screening
Candidates MUST:
- 2:1 BA/BSc/MSc in Maths, Economics or stats from a top tier University
- 3 years experience in Investment banking or Private Equity
- English plus another Language
- Excellent mathematical MA skills
- Good foundation of financial skills in company valuation and modelling.
- Experience supporting pitches and presentations
- Ability to interact confidently with clients and other external parties
This is a unique company that allows a great deal of exposure to deals especially for a candidate with little experience. The boutique nature means you are not expected to work all hours of the day yet gain masses of responsibility from day 1.
