Senior sales person with strong institutional equity sales background gained from a broker dealer environment sought by this progressive and internationally expanding house.
Applicants will have significant Emerging Markets experience and will ideally have exposure to and an active interest in the New Frontier markets. The role will focus on the sales of African equities to an international institutional client base and as such any previous exposure to the African markets will be an advantage.
The ideal individual will be a dynamic and driven sales professional with a track record in developing business with institutional clients. The role will involve the identification of prospective clients, working with trading and research partners to convert prospects to active clients and subsequently grow market share for the firm. Additional responsibilities will include selling research, attending roadshows, identifying and marketing investment ideas to clients and producing sales notes to support investment ideas.
An entrepreneurial approach is essential as the successful candidate will be part of a newly established team responsible for setting up an office in London.
