Equity Structurer- LONDON recruitment
The Role:
- You will join the equity trading desk and take the role of head equity structurer and head of product innovation across all equities and equity/ hybrid products
- Highly commercial role very close to the trading P and L as you will report into the European head of equity trading
- My client is keen to make this hire to increase the product capabilities/ product suite of the equity derivatives sales force and traders
- Very broad role and high level of responsibility- you will be in charge of all the product development/ pricing/ product design across equity vanillas/ hybrids/ flow/ funds/ exotics for institutional/ retail/ private banking and to a lesser extent corporate
- Role will demand strong technical skills but also a very strong commercial awareness/ strong marketing skills and ability to push products to external clients and come up with strong ideas on the equity derivatives market
The Candidate:
- This is a unique and rare opportunity and my client is looking to hire a top equity structurer with a solid track record in equity structuring/ product innovation from a top investment bank
- High preference for candidates already working in London
- Pricing/ product engineering is important but the main focus of this role is product innovation/ marketing/ product development
- My client will only hire a VP/ Director due to the importance/ level of responsibility of this role
- This opportunity would suit an experienced structurer working as a AD/ VP or Director who would like to take the next step up to Director and head of equity structuring or the chance to become head of a small team of equity structurers.
