Our client is a leading International Investment Bank. Due to strong demand and high volumes in their Equity Swaps business they are looking for a talented individual to join their team on a 6 month contract basis.
Directly supporting the Front office this is a wide ranging and challenging role requiring you to display a high level of technical product knowledge and an ability to work directly with traders to add value. Responsibilities will include trade entry, reconciliations, monitoring trade life cycle events as well as resolving any trade discrepancies with counterparties/BO/FO. The team have the opportunity to actively contribute in new business initiatives, UAT and global projects. This is initially a 6 month contract role.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- 3+ years Equity Derivatives Middle Office experience from an Investment Bank
- Equity Swaps product knowledge is highly desired
- Excellent analytical skills and an ability to quickly develop an understanding of the infrastructure and end to end process
- Multi-tasking skills and an ability to adapt in a fast paced, dynamic and changing environment is essential
- Previous exposure facing off to the Front office, able to deal directly with traders in a confident manner
- Strong problem solving skills, able to add value rather than just accept the status quo
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
