Equity trader
????????????Equity trader position in a leading Offshore Fund. Role entails responsibility for execution of global equity positions including cash and derivative products. We are looking for strong expertise in Equity Arbitrage. This is not a pure order running/execution role, and we are looking for a pro-active, ambitious individual who will run the trading of existing positions, optimising timing, managing broker relations, and create PNL for the book, generating trade ideas.
This position would suit an Equity trader, with experience of global Equity markets. The team of 4 run a Global Special Situations fund and are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious member of the team to take responsibility for the execution and trading. We require detailed knowledge of equity spread trading, cash and some light derivative products, and experience trading at least some of the major global equity markets.
Experience of Global Equity trading and execution from a leading investment bank, prop desk, or hedge fund is essential. Any previous experience executing special situation and event driven trades would be additive. the position requires some evening work for coverage of Asian markets. Candidates must have experience trading spreads, calls/puts.
