Our client is looking for a Director of Business Systems; you are a senior level manager or director from a financial industry /investment management background who has implemented a new HR System with a heavy focus on financial data (managing partner equity, bonus plans, compensation plans, profit sharing plans, exterior financial client information)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Consult with business users on technology needs
• Create documentation in support of technology requests
• Develop and mange project plans for technology implementations
• Manage technology vendor relationships
TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE:
• Strong understanding of relational databases
• Strong understanding of HR and Finance technology in financial/investment services
• Experience with Sungard Investran preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus and Sharepoint
• Relevant HR technology exposure
QUALIFICATIONS:
• MBA with concentration in finance or technology preferred
• Strong Project management/leadership skills
• 5-7 years experience in the financial field
• Analytical skills including ability to produce applications specs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working with external vendors and consultants including negotiations on price
• Ability to deliver technology projects on time and within budget
• Previous experience working in an investment management environment
