ERP Systems Analyst Job in Ottawa, Ontario Canada
Eagle is currently seeking one (1) ERP Systems Analyst. This contract opportunity is projected to be two (2) months in length with the possibility of extension if applicable.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing EP support to the clients;
- Working with ASD team to deliver EP solutions;
- Reviewing and analysing existing EP solution;
- Providing recommendation based on best practice on setting up structure for EP;
- Documenting recommendations;
- Developing EP model;
- Implementing changes to EP model;
- Documenting implementation strategy;
- Providing advice to staff on using EP; and,
- Implementing process documentation of solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have:
- Experience with the following Technical Environment:
- Cognos EP ANALYST;
- Cognos BI suite 8.4.1;
- Cognos Data Manager 8.4.1;
- Cognos Framework Manager 8.4.1;
- Cognos Report Studio;
- Cognos Query Studio;
- Cognos Event Studio;
- MS-SQL 2005, 2008;
- Windows 2008 servers; and,
- Microsoft Office 2003.
- Implemented at least three (3) Cognos version 8 Planning projects;
- Build a planning or forecasting model using Cognos Planning for at least four (4) Cognos BI Planning projects in the last three (3) years;
- Experience in documenting best practice for deployment, data entry, maintenance and promotion of Cognos Planning applications;
- One of the following certification qualifications:
- IBM Certified Solution Designer - Cognos Planning
- IBM Certified Solution Expert – Cognos Planning
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience of implementing security design as it relates to the Cognos Enterprise Planning toolset;
- Expertise in Admin Links, Contributor Macros, and automation using Cognos Enterprise Planning;
- A minimum of 5 years writing complex SQL queries from Cognos Planning published data sources; and,
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in best practice design, development, implementation and management of financial planning solutions using Cognos Analyst and Contributor models.
