Responsibities:
An entry level SAP Analyst is assigned to a specific functional group (Finance, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Procurement, etc.) on the SAP team within the TE Connectivity Information Systems organization. The analyst is provided with an on-boarding program of functional and technical training. A mentor is assigned to facilitate the on-boarding process. The analyst works in a project based team environment. Team members may be located in multiple regions of the world in support of the Global business footprint. The Analyst is trained to work with professionals in the TE business units to distill and document business requirements for business process and IT solutions. The analyst works with the team to design, develop, test, deploy, and support IT solutions and processes in support of business imperatives.
Requirement:
Position Duties/Responsibilities – work in a project based team environment to:
- Define business requirements for IT solutions and processes
- Perform build versus buy analysis and vendor evaluations
- Design IT solutions to meet the business requirements, performance standards, and usability standards
- Evaluate and select the optimal software platform and associated infrastructure to meet requirements
- Develop IT solutions, interfaces, and processes using the TEIS Project Methodology
- Ensure IT solutions are auditable, secure, and recoverable
- Ensure data quality and integrity of IT solutions
- Test IT solutions by creating test scenarios and performing systems and integration testing
- Develop and deliver training and documentation materials
- Deploy IT solutions using sound change management practices
- Provide customer support and enhancements for IT solutions
- Other activities as assigned
