Job Title:  ESB Administrator

The ESB Administrator is the key role for supporting a complex Software AG webMethods ESB.  Core responsibilities of this lead position include ESB environment setups, code deployments, and maintenance. Significant focus will need to be applied on configurations to ensure high stability and performance in our service oriented architecture.  The Administrator will need to understand the integration design in order to configure the hardware/software for maximum performance.  This applicant must be highly motivated towards meeting project deadlines and technology challenges. Partnering with the Integration Development Team will be required to analyze enterprise service issues, determine the root causes, and implement solutions.  The ESB Administrator will also work closely with the Integration Manager, Solution Engineer, Development Staff, Infrastructure Service Support and the Corporate Technology Team. Having an external focus to understand industry trends and the organization's technical roadmap will also be required to ensure the best methods for administration and maintenance are applied.
 
·         Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience preferred
 
·         Minimum 2 years experience working in a Linux Environment with at least 2 years in a tech lead role
 
·         Minimum 2 years experience administering an ESB.
·         Strong knowledge of SOA, JMS, web services, and http
·         Ability to configure and create new instances
·         Experience upgrading ESB vendor software
·         Ability to tune the system proactively to meet the needs of the application
·         Experience troubleshooting issues related to installation, configuration or performance
·         Ability to review application requirements and determine the configuration needed to support the application
·         Ability to participate in meetings with the technical teams to understand changes which may affect the environment.
·         Experience configuring and supporting a HADR environment.
