Fee attorney office is in search of an experienced Escrow Officer.  This person must be a fully trained and currently licensed Escrow Officer.  The ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge of all aspects of the title insurance business and Ramquest. 


About the Job

 
Heavily communicates with client, lender, broker, Asset Management Company, seller’s agent, buyer’s agent and internal staff to facilitate all closing issues in a timely manner.  Responsible for the coordination of all aspects involved with finalizing the transfer of properties. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct closings and effectively manage a team that completes the following tasks:

·         Review daily reports to ensure completion of assigned duties.

·         Responsible for preparation and accuracy of HUD-1 Settlement Statement and closing documents in accordance with state requirements, client instructions, and lender instructions.

·         Review title report for clearance and to assure all items are accounted for including but not limited to updating payoffs, taxes and HOA.

·         Secure lender, seller and/or broker approval of loan closing documents.

·         Address inquiries from client, seller, buyer, agents, lender, internal staff and Asset Management Company professionally and in a timely manner.

·         Maintain open communication with team members and management.

·         Confirm signing date, location, documentation and funds due at closing with buyers.

·         Ensure all funding conditions have been met in accordance with state and lender instructions.

·         Deed preparation.

·         Cut checks to all payees and wire funds to the seller within client directed timelines.

·         Resolve any post-closing issues in a timely manner.

 

·         Attend and participate in bi-weekly team meetings.

·         Prepare file for final policy insurance.

·         All other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

·         High School diploma or equivalent.

·         Minimum of three years of resale and/or REO Escrow Officer experience.

·         Working knowledge of real estate title, deed preparation and closing.

·         Proven customer service skills.

·         Must be able to use and have advanced computer skills and be proficient in the Microsoft software products.
