SMC385 – Escrow Transaction Manager – 12 month contract
Overview:
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Transaction Manager to join a leading International Bank on a 12 month contract. Based in offices in London, the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and managing the full lifecycle of highly complex specialised transactions/structures aligned to Escrow/ Project Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as key liaison with outside counsel and other external parties.
- Coordinating the account opening, KYC clearance and receipt of Escrow monies/ asset and providing support to the transaction parties throughout the life of the Escrow.
- Acting as primary contact post mandate with internal and external parties on new and existing transactions.
- Subject Matter Expert for product, ensuring that relevant parties are kept up to date with market and competitor data and new regulations/laws for specific products or country regulations.
- Reviewing, negotiating and safe keeping of Escrow and Account Bank related documents.
- Execution of documents and attending closing meetings, where necessary.
- Providing support to relevant parties from drafting through to closing and throughout the life of the transactions.
Qualifications Training:
- Degree level education or equivalent.
- Capital markets experience gained in private practice and/or from an Agency Trust background.
Relevant experience
- Proven legal and document management skills
- Strong product and market knowledge
- Ability to effectively influence clients/external lawyers in key business areas
- Ability to liaise with internal and external contacts
