Role Summary
The eSolutions Product Management Specialist prepares under the supervision of the eSolutions Product Management Manager the various documents used within the scope of an eSolutions project and provides assistance to customers during the various phases of the project.
The eSolutions Product Management Specialist helps to implement the product strategy for applications and trading systems and to translate customers and clients’ needs into new features and new services.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Clarify end user needs and requirements
- Participates in the presentation of solution to end users
- Gather feedback and change requites
- Follow up on UAT
Project Management:
- Clarify scope of work for a project
- Participate to the writing of project documentation and key deliverables with the input from
- various participants (eSolution, IT, Operations)
- Plan the various tasks and resources within the scope of eSolutions project
- Prepare cost estimation and budget within the scope of eSolutions project
- Define project schedule
- Perform and/or coordinate the execution of various tasks required on project
- Coordinate procurement (with eSolutions Business Planning) within the scope of the project
- Follow-up on the overall cost in liaison with PMO and Business Planning
- Control scope and monitor the execution of the project to keep the deadline
- Analyze potential risks, constraints and propose alternative scenario whenever possible
- Perform or supervise tasting with customers
- Perform handover to eSolutions Support team (with the help of eSolutions Technical Support team)
- Perform post project analysis (debriefing)
- Prepare a data flow document in interaction with other departments (IT, Risk, B/O)
Product management:
- Document e-trading products and services into eSolutions catalog
- Maintain eSolutions catalog
- Gather ideas and new requirements from eSolutions On-boarding, eSolutions Support and the
- Business Lines feedback for adding new features on existing platforms or designing new service offering
Vendor Management:
- Follow up with vendors on new products, new features
- Prepare survey/ presentation on vendor products
Performance Measurements:
- Project are deployed according to a clear plan and in perfect cooperation with the other internal or external participants, customers or providers
- All the necessary testing are done and the sensitive data are preserved
- Departments impacted are informed before, and after any projects clearly and precisely
- Staff is educated on the use of new templates, documentation and project tools in a manner that maximizes usefulness
- eSolutions documents, records and reports are prepared, maintained and typed accurately and in a timely manner
- eSolutions files are appropriately maintained Issues reporting are correct and completed in a timely manner
- Good communication and coordination exist with Newedge personnel. Assistance and support are provided as needed
- Management is appropriately informed of areas activities
- eSolutions functions are completed in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures and consistent with the group/ department procedures
Requirements:
- Degree holder in any discipline
- Knowledge of project management and experience in participating or leading large project a plus
- At least 5 years in Finance industry with an exposure to electronic brokerage business and understanding of flow
- Attentive to details and accurate, well organized are necessary
- Cooperative and able to work well under stressful situation
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to details are desired qualities
- Ability to speak, read and write in English a must, Mandarin would be a plus
- Knowledge of GL, ORC, Trading Technologies and Trading Screen
