eSolutions Product Manager recruitment
The eSolutions Product Manager for Global Equities and Equity Options will serve as the primary will identify business line needs for electronic trading systems, help set the strategy for meeting the needs, maintaining cost effective equity trading systems, and working with other product managers to provide multi-asset trading capabilities.
Day to Day Responsibilities Include:
- Defining product strategy for global cash equity and equity options electronic trading capabilities.
- Working with vendors to negotiate contracts in conjunction with Business Logistics and IT
- Working with vendors to establish proper service level agreements and support procedures.
- Working with exchanges to correctly connect trading systems to the exchanges.
- Maintaining proper compliance and regulatory capabilities of all exchange based systems.
- Support sales effort and onboarding teams as the eSolutions subject matter expert in Equities and Equity Options
- Propose solutions to Onboarding and Sales for delivery to client.
- Project management to implement selected solutions and strategy.
- Maintain proper product catalog information including information about market access, algorithms, smart order routing, etc.
- Brief support desk on trading system details so they are prepared to render Tier 1 assistance with comprehensive documentation to ensure ongoing operations continue smoothly.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 + years of Brokerage industry experience; preferably, supporting online transactions.
- 3+ years of experience related to Equities and Equity Options.
- Basic knowledge of equity algorithmic trading.
- Understanding of exchange connectivity such as MPIDs and mnemonics requirements.
- Understanding of OMS and EMS architecture.
- Basic knowledge of RVP/DVP and CMTA transactions.
- Knowledge of the investment industry and knowledge of investment compliance.
- Ability to gather and assess client needs and to translate them in a logical and practical set of project tasks.
- Ability to run meetings: project plans, minutes, manage client expectations etc…
- Solid presentation skills.
- Experience in application support, analysis and troubleshooting as well as experience with software testing and user training.
- The ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
- Derivatives Trading (Understanding symbols, exchanges, price formats).
- Ability to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Must be detailed oriented and able to work on multiple projects at a time.
- Previous Business Analysis and Project Management experience.
- Series 7, 99 (99 to be obtained by Sept 2012)
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project a plus
- Experience with FIX, Fidessa, Realitick or similar trading platforms a plus.
- Project Management experience
