Estimating Engineer Job in Lowestoft, Anglia Uk

Main Responsibilities

Preparation of complete project/proposal estimates as assigned by Manager.

 

Prepare specific proposal and contract estimates as assigned by Manager.


Preparation of overall estimate (showing resource requirements) and agreement of schedule with the management team, monitor and report estimate progress.


Coordinate with Manager and other Departments to obtain all required technical and commercial input to the estimate.


Distribute all technical data to other departments ensuring consistency in the technical data used for the estimate.

 

Continuously review the systems and work practices for estimating and recommend to Management appropriate improvements and complete estimate check lists.


Be the point of contact for each assigned estimate.


Complete arithmetic check of estimate prior to review.

 

Undertake risk analysis assessment to determine level of contingency.


Prepare estimate notes and/or pricing sheets and all other documentation.


Prepare statistical/historical data analysis as required to check the estimate during reviews.


Prepare final estimate documentation for project estimates for issue to client and obtain approval.
