No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Apply knowledge of estimating processes to develop detailed and parametric estimates from engineering work statements and/ or high-level statements of work. Support research, analysis, and interpretation of historical data to support estimates and cost models. Assist with development of solutions to a variety of complex problems, referring to established precedents and policies. Develop and maintain estimating tools, data and cost estimating relationships. Provide cost information to cross-functional teams, management and customers. Coordinate/ identify estimating and pricing methodologies for use in estimates/ analysis. Develop estimating and pricing methods for simple relationships. Develop, maintain, and utilize effective internal controls to ensure compliance with estimating and pricing system requirements. General knowledge of proposal, accounting, and rate development (common systems). General knowledge of audit, fact-finding, and negotiation processes (e.g., self audit, internal audit, government audit, effective negotiation) and how they affect the proposal process. Preferred - Complete knowledge of government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., Estimating system manual, FAR, DFAR, TINA, ITAR, Procurement integrity, Export Compliance) relating to the development of cost proposals. Complete knowledge of proposal, accounting, and rate development (common systems). Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have at least 3 years experience in estimating? Do you have experience in Finance? Do you have experience with government contracting? Do you meet the criteria described in the Typical Education / Experience section of this requisition? Typical Education/Experience Level 2 - Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
