A well known and respected portable buildings manufacturing organisation, providing modular building solutions for a range of industries both locally and nationally require an experienced Estimator to join their operation in Brisbane. The company has been serving the Mining, Oil and Gas and Government sectors for over 30 years and the last 18 months has experienced substantial growth.
Due to an internal promotion, the company requires an experienced Estimator / Internal Sales professional to join their South Brisbane operation.
Reporting to the General Manager your role will include:
• Receiving inquiries from clients within various industries.
• Identifying and analysing the specifics to the job.
• Estimating and reading specifications.
• Identifying any risks, managing changes and variation in the process.
• Consult with the clients to ensure their needs are met.
To be successful in the role you will have:
• Minimum of 3 years as an Estimator in a similar field.
• Experience in commercial construction would be ideal.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly in MS Excel.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and be adaptable to variations.
• Must have knowledge of risk assessment.
