Estimator Position
Sprague-Rosser Contracting is a civil, industrial and commercial construction
company that was founded over 45 years ago. Our company is growing quickly
and we are looking for reliable team players to grow with us. We are currently
seeking Estimators to work along side Sprague-Rosser’s Estimating team.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
§ Review and interpret construction blueprints
§ Provide preliminary budgets, cost plans value engineering exercises
§ Oversee the tender and award of general and subcontracts
§ Assist with contract administration
§ Develop and maintain positive working relationships with owners, contractors and subcontractors
§ Complete projects for the Chief Estimator as needed
Required Skills:
§ 3+ years Estimating experience in Civil Construction
§ Solid understanding of the bid process
§ Experience and accuracy in quantity/volume calculations
§ Strong time management, problem solving and documentation skills
§ Computer experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project)
§ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
