The key function of Barclays Capital Equity Trading Conformance Management "ETCM" is to work within the Institution Equity Division to identify and manage systemic supervisory/regulatory risk worldwide. This includes advising the business and its management in relation to the application of particular internal rules, policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree

  • Minimum 3+ years equities/derivatives experience
  • Preferred Qualifications

    Ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail, be technology conversant, and possess the business knowledge and practicality needed TO DELIVER on practical solutions to front office problems in the real world of trade-offs and limited resources.

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Understanding of general trading infrastructure and associated controls.
  • Solid understanding of rules and regulations and their applicability to trade flows (vanilla and complex).
  • Strong Microsoft Office Product Suite skills including Excel, Visio, and Access.
  • Demonstrable communication skills; ability to interact and work closely with senior business heads and other key partners (e.g. Compliance).
  • Ability to multitask and meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • A proven ability to work in a fast-paced and high pressure environment.
  • Technical, operational, and compliance savvy required.
  • Licences/registrations preferred but not required for day one.
