ETD Client Aligned Manager recruitment
The Client Aligned Team is part of the London Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) group.
The team’s function is to manage all position related queries and ensure a high customer satisfaction. The larger ETD Group acts as both Broker and Executing Agent for Investment Banking clients, primarily Banks, Institutional Clients, Family Offices, Hedge Funds and Asset Managers, across Futures Options exchanges worldwide. The Client Aligned Team plays a critical role in providing a high level of service to clients (internal and external) by dealing with all post trade related client issues (f.e. position handling, trade breaks, etc.). The value of daily processing is high and requires excellent attention to detail and working within tight deadlines.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Previous experience in ETD operations is a requirement
- Administration and monitoring client’s derivative positions
- Investigation and handling of trade breaks
- Notification of clients about relevant changes in their positions (assignments/exercises, corporate actions, expiring positions etc.)
- In-house position movements / external position transfers / take- give-ups
- Client support in using UBS’s ETD client facing tool for Position Management
- Monitoring of client exposure to manage the banks risk
- Coordinate issues resolution internally by interaction with other ETD teams
- Contribute, through client’s input, to SwisKey system development (front end application)
- Contribution to Process Improvement Initiatives
- Providing excellent client service
Requirements
- Ideally A level in commercial education (KV/Berufsmittelschule) or higher degree in BA (Bachelor)
- Good ETD Knowledge skills and understanding of other investment banking products
- Willing to gain client facing skills and experience
- Proficiency in MS Office products especially MS Excel
- Process analysis flair
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently on multiple tasks at once
- Team player and works well under tight deadlines
- Interested in working in a multi-cultural environment
- Very good English and German language skills (written and verbally), French or Italian language skills are preferred and highly advantageous
