ETL Developer Job in Reading, Southern UK
ETL Developer required to work based in Reading, Berkshire for a major telecommunications company.
Project: Port a collection of in-house script based ETL solutions into a Talend Integrator Suite platform. O.T.J. train an existing team with no previous experience of Talend Integrator Suite product.
The following experience is required:
Talend Integrator Suite expert. - Essential
Alternatively(Desirable) experience of one of the following ETL solution,
-IBM Infosphere DataStage
-Informatica PowerCenter
-Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB)
-Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
-SAS ETL Studio
-Business Objects Data Integrator(BODI)
-Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS)
-Ab Initio
-Freeware,
open source ETL tools:
-Pentaho Data Integration (Kettle)
-CloverETL
-Jasper
ETL Strong SQL skills - 2+ years
Essential Good knowledge transfer skills
Able to pass on ETL knowledge
Unix system administration and Scripting skills
