The Position:

 

As the EU Regional Practice Lead, MRO and Facilities, you will be responsible for working with the Global Practice Lead and the EU leadership team to continue to lead and develop  the EU MRO Facilities Practice.

 

Included in your responsibilities will be managing EU MRO and Facilities clients, identifying and cultivating  additional business growth opportunities focused on providing solutions to our client’s needs. Additionally, you will have responsibility for delivering strategic category management services including, but not limited to strategic sourcing, client stakeholder management, price management, supply market monitoring, continuous improvement, category road maps, demonstrate innovation and on-going cost reductions, supplier review, and issue resolution. Specifically you will; 

 

·         Work closely with existing and potential clients to identify their needs, effectively present and deliver solutions.

·         Engage with customers’ senior MRO and Facilities management team members to drive and communicate progress

·         Design and implement cost savings looking at not only price management but also value add and process improvements.

·         Measure customer’s MRO and Facilities costs and continuously assess market conditions in order to assess the impact on customer costs.

·         Measure and manage actual services’ performance vs. contracted service levels.

·         Perform numerous problem-solving functions to ensure customer satisfaction.

·         Drive continuous improvement.

·         Develop positive working relationships with third party MRO and Facilities providers utilizing their expertise to implement cost savings initiatives.

·         Provide positive leadership, guidance and mentoring to the MRO Facilities team ensuring ongoing development and up to date best in class market practices.

 

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
 

·         A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain MRO and Facilities or related discipline, MBA preferred

·         Client facing consulting experience with business development responsibilities desired

·         Ability to interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills

·         Strong influencing skills

·         Solid experience in strategic sourcing and or category management related to international MRO and Facilities services.

·         Ability to demonstrate strong strategic thinking and be a key influencer with good collaborative leadership.

·         Experience or knowledge as a thought leader of MRO and Facilities industry is a must

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Formal training and/or extensive experience in strategic sourcing or category management

·         Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Access) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint)

Travel:

·         This position requires travel up to 25% to customer business unit locations.
