European Accountant
Our client, a rapidly expanding global technology business is seeking a newly qualified Financial Accountant to take ownership of the European entities. With record growth over the last few years, this company is constantly looking to expand globally.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the overall purpose of this role is to prepare financial accounts under US GAAP for the multiple European entities.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate who is looking for their step into industry, as the successful candidate is likely to have an audit background.
Responsibilities will include:
· Preparation of Financial Accounts under US GAAP for multiple subsidiaries
· Balance sheet reconciliations
· Monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
· Liaising with the local finance teams across Europe
· Establish and maintain appropriate financial policies, procedures and controls
· Involvement in ad-hoc financial projects e.g. introducing new systems and processes
The candidate:
· Qualified ACA
· Must have practical experience of US GAAP
· Fluent Second European language is ideal
· Strong communication skills
· Previous experience of International entities is essential
· Excel skills; pivot tables and v lookups
