European Asset Management – Property Finance Portfolio recruitment
The purpose of the team is to formulate business plans for troubled assets and optimise recovery for the bank. There is a mix of commerical and residential assets with the majority being held in Germany and Spain.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring security reviews are undertaken
- Formulating a business plan for individual assets
- Executing the business plan for the asset with a primary aim of optimising recovery.
- Identifying assets which the Bank should exercise our security on. Identifying opportunities to create sell down of the loans, or suitable JVs.
- Ensuring accounts are properly managed and all material risks are identified
- Reporting as required
The ideal candidate will possess the following
- German qualified general banking and financial services lawyer or chartered accountant,with banking / financial services experience gained from a major law firm, accountancy firm or bank;
- Experience of banking and financial services procedures, practice and transaction management is also ideally required.
- A practical approach and the ability to make clear and concise decisions,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a sound knowledge of property markets.
- Ability to analyse (including assess risk) and price appropriately property lending opportunities.
- Knowledge and understanding of the credit approval process, understanding of internal process.
- Relationship management skills.
