European bank financial services arm seeks junior accountant
Our client is the investment management and financial services arm of a European bank. An opportunity has arisen within the revenue reporting team due to an internal promotion.
There will be two aspects to your role; production and reviewing. For the majority of the role your core responsibilities will involve production of the daily nostro reconciliation's and assisting with the input and control of the fixed asset register. You will also draw from your previous experience dealing with invoices to code and process all of the supplier invoices and expenses. You will also be involved with processing and producing the quarterly and annual VAT returns.
For the second part of the role you will have the opportunity to carry out reconciliation's of the supplier statements. You will also be reviewing all of the invoices and staff expenses in order to make sure their comply with the with the company requirements. In order to do this you will have to maintain and review the expense template in order to make sure everything is recorded correctly for further analysis.
This role is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to follow on from a previous internship and enter the world of finance on a permanent basis. You will need to have had previous experience within an accounting role in order to apply. The salary for this role is up to £35,000 dependant on experience
