Our client has closed several high profile and complex transactions within the cleantech and renewable energy space. This has included a mixture of MA, debt-, equity- and hybrid-financings and several of the deals have had a cross-border angle. They have been particularly active outside of the UK, closing numerous deals in Germany as well as other jurisdictions in central and southern Europe. The senior team consists of highly experienced investment bankers whose backgrounds range across the bulge bracket including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, to name a few.
One Search has recruited several individuals into this business and as such is extremely knowledgeable of the firm's culture, key people and recent track record.
Given the high level of deal flow our client is currently experiencing, it is essential that applicants have strong execution experience, and as such we are prepared to consider candidates who don’t necessarily have direct cleantech and/or renewables deal experience. If you have more general industrials experience or similar then you will also be considered. There is a very high preference for German speakers given that this is a key market where the firm has built a reputation and continues to develop pipleline.
Ideal candidates will be extremely bright and highly driven with effective communnication skills. You will have graduated from a top tier academic institution and you will ideally have trained with a top tier, recognised investment bank, or banks.
