Pharmalink Consulting offers consultancy services to the Pharmaceutical industry to ensure
that products on the market are of the highest quality and meet all safety standards.
We provide specialist regulatory consultancy services on a Global basis with offices
in the UK, US, India and Singapore.

Due to the ongoing success of Pharmalink Consulting, we are now looking to recruit a European
Business Development Manager based in Munich, who will be responsible for selling Pharmalink’s
consultancy services and increasing our share of the market in Central Europe.
This is a unique, exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter with an established track record
of sales, preferably to clients in the healthcare Industry. With fluency in German and English,
you will develop existing client contacts and establish new client relationships.
Reporting to the European Commercial Manager, the key responsibilities of this role are:
- Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement sales strategy.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within both new and existing clients.
- Maintain general knowledge of all Pharmalink’s services for appropriate cross-selling opportunities.
- Identify and follow up sales opportunities.
- Prepare and make presentations to existing and new clients.
- Prepare and submit proposals.
- Follow up proposals to successful close of business deals.
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline in order to meet objectives and financial target.
- Manage leads through all channels (internet/phone/social media) within defined territory.
- Represent Pharmalink at Trade Shows/exhibitions.
- Updating and management of CRM system.
Skills and Experience
- Degree educated with extensive sales experience preferably in the Healthcare Industry.
- Industry awareness (Life Science - pharmaceutical).
- Excellent communication skills – fluency in German and English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills – self motivated, professional and able to liaise at all levels.
- Effective time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities.
- Ability to analyze and relate customer issues/requirements to non-commercial colleagues.
- Ability to work both independently and cohesively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to close deals with a consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Contract negotiation experience (essential).
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively.
