European Cross-Currency FX Options Trader
JOB DESCRIPTION
A dynamic European Investment bank is looking to add a VP FX options trader to their Foreign Exchange trading team based in London. The role with be a purely trading position managing the European cross-currency book but candidates with experience trading different markets would also be considered. The hire will be an additional trader on the desk therefore they have a certain level of flexibility when it comes to market coverage. They will consider candidates from an emerging markets background also.
The successful candidate will likely have between 4-8 years trading experience and come from a similar background within one of the leading global investment banks. The group has a strong presence in the European market and has one of the most impressive PnL track records per head. They boast market leading quants and leading systems and are a great home for FX options traders. The candidate will have strong product knowledge in the foreign exchange space and will have direct experience trading options. Candidates from a non-linear, exotic and complex background will also be considered as well as those with purely a vanilla focus, they should have solid academics to support their experience to date.
REQUIRED
4-8 years Foreign Exchange Trading Experience on either G10 or EM Currencies. Preferably in the European cross-currency space.
Experience and knowledge in FX Options products and traded at a large global investment bank
Outgoing, communicative and willing to work in a dynamic environment
